I'm a little overwhelmed today. The past few weeks have been in a word...interesting. An unexpected hospital visit, plans falling through, expenses adding up more quickly than we can keep up. However, He is able. I cling to the promise that He is able to provide all our needs...that He has called us to bring Lily Song home. There are days I really don't know how this is going to happen. But we pray...and we work...and we trust.
He is Able.
Father in heaven, thank you for the gift of faith. Faith for the impossible; faith that reaches beyond the humanly possible; faith that can look at the mountains of expenses and challenges and say "be moved, and be cast into a sea of miracles;"; faith that can reach out to an orphaned soul and say, "this one is mine by the grace of God;" faith that doesn't consider "what if's"; faith that will only consider it done. I pray that you will give that gift of faith to Shane, Ashley, and the kids that they will look at every challenge as a way for you to get more glory. I pray they see every expense as a vision and gift of your provision.
ReplyDeleteI pray also for Lily Song. I thank you for this child and gift to the world. I pray you will keep your hand on this child you have called into the Groves family, to keep her safe and focused in you. I pray you will keep her healthy; that all manner of sickness would be healed; that she would be a beacon to the world of your faithfulness. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Love Mike Teninty
